Score 85-87/100 · Drink 2024-2028, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Bourgogne Les Lutenières Rouge, which has added the lieu-dit name since the 2020 vintage (lies just opposite the Arnoux-Lachaux winery), is matured in 20% new oak. It has a ripe red cherry and raspberry-scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with a pastille-like entry, candied red cherry fruit mixed with orange zest, leading to a sweet finish. Fine.

The 2021 Bourgogne Les Lutenières (which now bears the name of its lieu-dit of origin, as it has since the 2020 vintage) is supple and perfumed, offering up aromas of sweet red berries, cherries and petals, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy palate framed by melting tannins and tangy acids.
