Score 92/100 · Drink 2012-2021, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2008

The 2006 Pinot Noir Meredith Mitchell Vineyard is dark ruby-colored with a perfume of earth notes, mineral, black cherry, black raspberry, and spice box. This leads to a wine with darker fruits and flavors, serious grip, and a very long finish. It will evolve for several years and drink well from 2012 to 2021. Ken Wright Cellars remains a benchmark for Oregon Pinot Noir. Wright’s portfolio of 2006s is outstanding across the board. As has become customary, Ken Wright has pulled off a tour de force in farming and winemaking. Tel. (503) 853-7070; www.kenwrightcellars.com
