Tasting notes
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is more backward in style, with plenty of crème de cassis. It is more delineated and complex with notes of spice box, vanilla, red and blackcurrants and darker cherries and spice. Full-bodied, ripe and impressive, this wine can be approached now, but will be better with several years bottle age and should keep well for 15 or more years.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is open-knit, resonant and voluptuous, but in the mid-weight style of the year. Mocha, espresso, dark raspberry jam, sweet spice and French oak all give the 2014 much of its open-knit, resonant personality. Ripe, silky tannins push the fruit forward. Drink this succulent, racy Cabernet over the next handful of years. The Reserve is very nicely done.
