(14.5% alcohol): Good saturated ruby-red. Enticing aromas of black raspberry, roast coffee, toffee, tobacco and musky herbs. Lush, suave and intense, with harmonious acidity giving shape to the flavors of currant, tobacco, milk chocolate and licorice. A very good vintage for this second wine.

Michel Gracia’s other tiny estate in St.-Emilion has produced a wonderfully distinctive wine that exhibits plenty of floral notes intermixed with boysenberry, mulberry and blueberry fruit. There also is an underlying flowery character to this opaque ruby/purple, medium to full-bodied wine, which is impressively pure, textured and meant for drinking over the next 10-15 years.
