Pouring a saturated red color, the 2019 Pinot Noir McDonald Mountain Vineyard shows off classic Russian River Valley flair in its notes of baked red cherries, cola spice, forest herbs, and red rooibus tea. Medium-bodied, it has a floating feel on the palate, with fine tannins, refreshing, even acidity, and a delicately spiced finish. A very appealing wine, it’s in a fantastic place to drink now or over the next 6-7 years.
