Score 92/100 · Drink 2027-2045, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023
The 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Grèves is still a little reserved after its recent bottling, unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of spices and new oak. Medium to full-bodied and ample, with lively acids and powdery, chalky tannins, it will reward a bit of patience.

Cask sample. Dark cherry hue; iodine, iron and a waft of violets. Rounded black-berried fruit on the palate with a grind of spice. (MH)
