Tasting notes
A brand new "third" label from Eisele Vineyard, the 2018 Pickett is composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc and a tiny splash of Syrah. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it strolls easily out of the glass with bright, bold black and red cherries scents plus red currant jelly, cassis and baking spices in the undercurrent with a hint of lavender. Medium-bodied, the palate is wonderfully elegant and poised, featuring soft tannins and seamless acid with exuberant red and black fruits, finishing spicy.
