Tasting notes
Deep ruby. Exotically perfumed bouquet offers blackberry, cassis, smoky minerals and violet, plus a note of black pepper. Very syrah, with strong, sweet dark berry flavors and a numbing spicy quality. Gains weight with air and finishes with rich blackcurrant and bitter chocolate qualities. Has plenty of structure but doesn't show any hardness.

Ruby-red. Dark berries, candied cherry, licorice and violet on the nose, with a subtle undercurrent of vanilla. Midweight cherry/berry flavors are firmed by fine-grained tannins, picking up smoky Indian spices and minerals with air. Understated, focused and pure, with excellent finishing cut and lingering, refreshingly bitter cherry skin and black pepper qualities.
