Tasting notes
The 2014 Zinfandel Heminway is another wine that has turned out beautifully. Dark cherry jam, licorice, spice and leather infuse the creamy mid-palate. Powerful and explosive, with real concentration, the Heminway is bold but also impeccably balanced, especially for a young wine from hillside vineyards.

Another whopper at 15.8% alcohol is the 2014 Zinfandel Heminway Vineyard. Blueberry, black raspberry, incense and almost a floral character jump from the glass of this dark ruby/purple Zinfandel. It is rich and full-bodied, with great purity, zesty acidity and a long, heady finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
The 2014 Zinfandel Heminway, from site in Chiles Valley, is one of the most immediate wines in this range. Cedar, tobacco and savory herbs take center stage, while the fruit is pushed into the background.
