Bright medium ruby. Aromas of crushed blackberry, mint, violet, licorice and bitter chocolate hint at a liqueur-like ripeness. Densely packed and suave, showing lovely restrained sweetness and floral lift. The wine's strong spine of acidity and saline element are keeping it under wraps today. (This was imploded in the early going and is evolving slowly.) Savory, concentrated and still a bit youthfully medicinal, this Cabernet finishes with a serious dusting of tannins and lovely rising length. (14.5% alcohol)

Sweet red berries, crushed flowers, spices and mint are all beautifully layered in this utterly impeccable, gracious wine. Sweet floral notes add lift and a measure of finesse on the finish. (700 cases made, using fruit from all three of the estate's blocks; 50% new oak): Dark red. Pungent aromas of red berries, minerals and loam. Juicy, spicy and energetic, with lovely cut and lift to the berry and mineral flavors. Long on clarity and finesse.
