Tasting notes
The 2014 Zinfandel Sadie Upton Vineyard is endowed with real class and personality. Deep, dense and beautifully centered, the 2014 speaks to poise and balance. Succulent red cherry, pomegranate, spice, cedar and tobacco meld into the deep, fleshy finish, while polished tannins add to the wine's total finesse.

Another Amador offering (from vines planted in 1922 during Prohibition) is the 2014 Zinfandel Sadie Upton Vineyard, an expressive wine with loads of raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry notes, terrific aromatics, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel and well-hidden potency (15.7% alcohol). Lusty, lush, pure, clean and fruit-driven, this is another beauty from Turley to drink over the next 7-8 years.
A true standout, the 2014 Zinfandel Sadie Upton Vineyard is wonderfully complete, silky and balanced. Creamy and deeply expressive, the 2013 is all finesse. Bright red cranberries, raspberries, flowers and mint are some of the signatures. Deceptively medium in body, the 2014 possesses marvelous intensity throughout.
