Tasting notes
A Napa Valley blend, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Ceanda shows the style of the estate with its incredibly pure blue and black fruits. Showing more minerality, tobacco, and earth with time in the glass, it's full-bodied, has a layered, seamless texture, no hard edges, and is another pure class release from this great estate. This cuvée spent 20 months in 75% new French oak, and there are only 300 cases produced.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon 29 Estate Ceanda is a new wine in the range that incorporates a high percentage of Cabernet Franc, which, in turn, adds dimensions of aromatic nuance and structure that are quite different of those in the two main Cabernets. Espresso, bittersweet chocolate and blackberry preserves are some of the many notes that build in this dense, concentrated wine. The Ceanda is a terrific addition to the Vineyard 29 lineup.
