Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2004

Bright, deep red. Subdued but perfumed aromas of redcurrant, rose petal and subtle oak. Lively and vivid on the palate; dry but rich and round. Very sophisticated and sleek, with intense but delicate red fruit, floral and spice flavors; impressively smooth tannins; and excellent subtle persistence.
