Lato’s 2005 Pinot Noir Goldcoast Vineyard Duende is a beauty. Its medium ruby color is followed by a gorgeously complex bouquet of cinnamon, ripe strawberries, sweet black cherries, subtle oak, and flowers. The wine hits the palate and opens to display a broad texture, a hint of smoke, beautiful sweet fruit, medium to full body, and well integrated acidity as well as tannin.
