Score 89/100 · Drink 2005-2010, Pierre Rovani, Aug 2005

The 2003 Marsannay (Maison) sports a nose of blueberries and black cherries. Broad, boisterous and governed by candied black fruits, this ample offering displays lovely depth as well as sweet ripe tannin. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. Note: This wine is produced by Jean-Nicolas Meo’s new negociant business. Represented by Domaines et Saveurs Collection, Jeanne-Marie de Champs, French Fax: 011-011-33-3-80-22-58-25; also imported by Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524
