Score 87/100 · Drink 1996-2008, Robert Parker, Oct 1993

How good it is to see this estate again turn out fine wines. The 1990 would have been exceptional if it had not been so tart and high in acidity. Although stern, it is an opaque-colored, intense, medium to full-bodied wine, with copious amounts of spicy, earthy, black-cherry fruit, excellent richness and density, and a long, moderately tannic finish. Drink it between 1996-2008.
