Bright yellow-straw color. Aromas of yellow peach and mirabelle, complemented by vanilla and toast notes. Fat and open-knit; more exotic than the Combettes but comes across as a bit less obviously sweet, perhaps due to its stronger component of spicy oak. But ultimately less complex too.

Pale lemon-yellow. Brisk aromas of lemon, white peach, crushed stone and minerals; more precise and less exotic than most of Boudot's premier crus in 2008. Concentrated and fruit-driven, with a captivating sugar/acid balance to the flavors of mandarin orange and white peach. Finishes with noteworthy persistence.
