Good medium ruby. Blackberry, espresso and pepper on the nose, along with a suggestion of stewed fruit. Sweet and nicely concentrated, with hints of blackberry, orange peel and spice. Very good but not outstanding depth of flavor. Still quite tightly wrapped; may show more nuance with a couple years of bottle aging.
