Medium cherry-red. A fruit bomb on the nose, with sappy aromas of maraschino cherry and raspberry. Sweet, pliant and lively, with strong red cherry and raspberry fruit enlivened by mint and minerals. Dense and full for 2002, fine-grained and impeccably balanced. Finishes long and cool, with suave tannins.

Rich, sensual, broad, and lush, its velvety-textured, medium to full-bodied personality displays enormous concentration and depth. Copious quantities of violet-perfumed dark fruits can be discerned in its complex, ample flavor profile. In addition, this gem’s prolonged finish exhibits loads of perfectly ripe tannin. Juicy, lively and structured; the wine's sappy berry flavors are still wound tight but hint at lovely sweetness. Offers terrific inner-palate energy.
