Good medium red. Inviting aromas of cherry, raspberry, flowers and smoky oak. Sweet, juicy and fairly powerful; tighter and leaner today than the Echezeaux, more in the style of the 2001 vintage. But this showed more density and texture as it opened in the glass, and the tannins are ripe.

(from the north side of the village) Good deep red. Precise, scented aromas of raspberry, cassis and flowers; the purest nose to this point. Juicy, fine and on the lean side, with very good intensity and definition of flavor. Finishes firm and persistent.
