Tasting Notes
The 2023 Bourgogne Aligote undergoes a longer élevage to create a "gastronomic Aligote in enamel vessels with no racking. It has an attractive bouquet, with a touch of beeswax complementing the citrus fruit aroma. The palate is crisp on the entry with orange rind and bitter lemon notes, fine acidity and a tropical-tinged finish. This is an endearing Aligote.

Not in bottle and not racked. Pale fresh lemon with quite a flinty reductive nose, as they do not settle out the solids after pressing. Needs the racking to clean it up, but there is a magical length to this, enough flesh but with the electric personality of the grape. Aiming at a gastronomic style and certainly succeeding!
