The 2023 Pinot Blanc was picked on the sandy soils of the Clos des Capucins. A blend of Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois, this was made in two foudres , one of which was new. The nose is shy, offering just a hint of pear juice and some smoke, but the palate unpacks real ripe fruitiness and bright freshness. A creamy aspect reminds of that new foudre . (Bone-dry)

Aged in a mix of old and new foudres. Vines of 15 to 50 years old. Mainly in the Clos des Capucins and some on limestone. Lots of energy and richness underneath. Very pacy! Infinitely superior to most Pinot Blancs. Lots of texture on the end. (JR)
