Suggestions of orange peel, butter, smoke and hazelnut flesh out in the 2013 Chardonnay Heintz Vineyard. Here, too, John Raytek has captured a gorgeous stylistic middle ground that expresses both the inherent richness of Heintz and a house style that seeks restraint. With time in the glass, the flavors and textures continue to open up as the voluptuous creaminess that is such a Heintz signature comes to the fore.
