Score 93/100 · Drink 2012-2022, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2007

The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon “Nurioopta” is a superb example of Barossa Cabernet. It has an expressive aromatic array of cedar, smoke, spice box, black currant and blackberry. Full bodied, balanced, and structured, it will age well for 5-7 years and give pleasure through 2022. It is an excellent value in Cabernet Sauvignon. Ruby-red. Seductively perfumed nose displays deep dark berry liqueur and baking spice qualities, with a musky tobacco element adding interest. Bright minerality lifts and sharpens the blackberry and boysenberry flavors, with chewy tannins adding depth. Picks up an exotic cinnamon quality on the finish. Very suave.
