Just a huge nose of plum, licorice, integrated oak, mint and exotic spice. Full bodied with a soft, mouth filling texture and a long finish. this was good from the first pour to the last sip.

A rating was given for this wine in the review, without a tasting note. I suppose it is no longer a secret that Helen Turley is the Martinelli winemaker.
About the producer

Martinelli
Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
