2001 Domaine Frédéric Magnien Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru

Medium red. Very spicy aromas of black raspberry, redcurrant, tobacco, rose petal and smoke. Sweet, generous and accessible, with deep flavors of wild strawberry, raspberry, flowers and spicy, nutty oak. Building finish features sweet tannins and a lingering flavor of wild dark fruits. This should age nicely but it also has the sweetness to give pleasure early.
