Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane has a nose of cranberry jelly and rhubarb with accents of blood orange, tea leaves, woodsmoke and forest floor. Medium-bodied and silky, it has a good core of bright fruit with seamless freshness and a long finish. 695 cases produced.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane is all restraint. Blood orange, red berry fruit, mint, rose petal and star anise all give the Olivet Lane a very pretty aromatic top register. Medium in body and understated, the Olivet Lane is finely sculpted, vivid and exceptionally polished. It is also less expressive today than most of the wines in the lineup. I would prefer to give it a bit of aeration.
