Tasting notes
The 2019 Stones Longitude-Latitude (the second vintage produced) is a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc from the Upper Range Vineyard (east of Rutherford) and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon (a blend of Stones 1, 2, 3). It's gently herbal, showing an attractive mix of tobacco, dark chocolate and black cherry notes, while being full-bodied, rich and intense. Powerful stuff, it finishes tannic but long and mouthwatering.

The 2019 Stones Longitude-Latitude, an even split of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, is another deep, rich, layered wine with a beautiful sense of elegance and finesse, no doubt due to the high quantity of Cabernet Franc. Cassis, violets, resinous herbs, and exotic flower notes all define the nose, and it’s pure, seamless, and balanced as they come, with perfect tannins. It too will have over two decades of longevity.
