Tasting notes
The cooked-plum aroma leaps out of the glass at you, from this ripe and rich Napa cabernet thatâs already supple enough to drink. Quite sweet with a bit of warmth at the finish. Drink or hold.

I am surprised to see that Zakin's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon hasn't budged much at all since I last tasted it about a year ago. Still tight and reticent, the 2015 packs a real punch, even if it remains compact and in need of further cellaring. A blast of dark cherry, plum, smoke, leather and licorice makes a strong impression, that much is obvious. I would prefer to cellar the 2015 for another few years to see if the tannins relax a bit.
The deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is scented of cassis, violets and chocolate box with touches of dried herbs, lavender and roses. The palate is medium to full-bodied, taut, chewy and refreshing with an herbal lift and long savory finish.
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has come together nicely since I tasted it last year. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, mocha and sweet spice note abound in this voluptuous, racy Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of rose petal, mint, crushed red berries and anise add an attractive upper register as the wine sits in the glass. Even with all of its immediacy and appeal, the 2015 appears to still be recovering from its recent bottling. I would prefer to cellar it for at least a few years.
