Score 89/100 · Drink 2021-2027, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2021

Vacheron's 2016 Sancerre Pinot Noir opens nicely pure, fresh and vital on the nose, and this purity is combined with attractive reduction and concentration. Dense and fruity on the palate, this is a round and juicy, intense and forward, persistent, stimulatingly fresh and grippy Pinot with a medium to full body, fine acidity and tannin complex and a sustainable, quite powerful finish. This is a lovely lunch and fish Pinot that already drinks very well. Tasted in February 2021.
