Tasting notes
(from a very cool, windy site): Healthy bright red. Reticent but complex aromas of raspberry, red licorice and crushed rock. Zippy acidity keeps the red berry and saline flavors tightly wound, but the wine's fine-grained texture and juicy persistence suggest it will evolve gracefully. This wine is always high in acidity, notes President Pierre Rovani. A lovely expression of terroir .

There are just 1½ barrels of the 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin les Poissenots 1er Cru. It has a very pure and pastille-like bouquet. The palate is very well balanced with vibrant sorbet-fresh red fruit. This feels vivacious and animated with impressive tension on the finish. This is another delightful Gevrey from Remoissenet.
