2013 Pasanau Ceps Nous

Opaque ruby. Smoke- and mineral-accented dark berry and cherry scents show good clarity and develop a floral nuance in the glass. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry, violet pastilles and a touch of licorice. Finishes with very good energy, lift and persistence, displaying supple tannins and echoing candied flowers. This wine drinks nicely right now, especially when decanted for an hour or so.
