Score 92/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Oct 2017
Red currants, spice-box, menthol and hints of tobacco all show in the 2016 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard and it's medium-bodied, concentrated and elegant on the palate. There's certainly a more base/earthy slant here, it's texture is spot on, and it has fine tannins that emerge on the finish. Give bottles a year or two and enjoy through 2026.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and features notes of black cherries and black raspberries with underlying anise, spice box and fruit cake hints. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock full of black berry preserves and spicy notions, with a velvety frame and plenty of freshness, finishing long.
