From 100% Carignane vines planted in 1890, own-rooted, head-trained, and dry-farmed, the 2023 Carignane Sandy Lane is bright and dusty in texture, with a medium-bodied tannic grip that lends impressive structure. Herbal, tart, and grippy, it tastes of cacao nib and dried herb, with lovely layers of raspberry fruit and cola playing on the palate as spicy white pepper enters the scene. Enjoy through 2030.
