2021 Seppelt Shiraz St. Peters Grampians

The 2021 St Peters Shiraz is a wine wrapped around a core of succulent, almost plump (still firm/savory/spicy) fruit. It's really good, as usual. The tannins have a pork crackling vibe to them—crunchy, savory, touch salty—with fruit that speaks of black cherries, dark chocolate, black tea and a hint of arnica. This has lovely, lingering flavors through the finish. It's a ripping wine, a classic. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
