Light, glistening yellow. Oak-spiced orchard and pit fruit aromas pick up floral, anise and vanilla notes as the wine opens up. Broad and fleshy in style, offering juicy nectarine, pear nectar and tangerine flavors and a sweetening suggestion of honey. In an ample style, delivering solid closing thrust and lingering pear and vanilla flourishes. 40% new French oak.

The 2017 Coeur Blanc, aged 14 months in 35% new French oak, gives up fresh apple and pear fruit with hints of baker’s yeast, elderflower, citrus peel and stone. It’s medium-bodied, silky and savory with nutty, honeyed flavors, juicy acidity and a long, textured finish.
