Tasting notes
The 2013 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard is drop dead gorgeous. Elegant and seamless with vibrant Pinot Noir fruit, spring flowers, strawberries and spice, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, an utterly seamless, silky texture, beautifully integrated acidity and a killer finish. This is Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands at its finest; it has beautiful flavor authority and depth, yet is always elegant, graceful and lively. I'd drink this gorgeous wine over the coming 5-6 years, but I'm sure it will evolve for longer.

Brilliant ruby. Powerful, smoke-accented cherry, boysenberry, vanilla and allspice aromas, with a floral nuance gaining strength with air. At once broad and juicy in the mouth, offering sappy red and blue fruit flavors along with suggestions of candied flowers and spicecake. Supple tannins add shape to the impressively persistent, focused finish, which leaves lively berry and floral pastille notes behind.
