Tasting notes
Coming from the west side of the Dundee Hills on dry farmed vines of the estate, the 2021 Pinot Noir Two Barns Vineyard pours a rich ruby/red color and slowly reveals elegant, ripe aromas of raspberry preserve, sweet cedar, nutmeg, and forest herbs. Juicy and inviting, it offers a clean, supple, juicy texture, with sweet tannins and a charming feel. It’s approachable and open for drinking now or over the next 5-7 years.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Two Barns was matured for 17 months in 65% new oak and opens with dark spice and brown sugar before revealing red cherry, cranberry, blood orange and tea leaves. The medium-bodied palate offers complex layers of wild berry, earth and spice. It's structured by lacy tannins and vibrant acidity, and has a very long, layered finish with a flourish of spicy accents.
The 2021 Pinot Noir Two Barns Vineyard is dark and brooding with a rich blend of lavender-laced blackberries and autumnal spice. It's elegant in feel with velvety textures and a cascade of inner florals. Ripe red and black fruits slowly saturate toward the close. Silky tannins resonate as this finishes with outstanding length and remarkable freshness, leaving a hint of candied citrus that makes for a lovely punctuation to the experience.
