Score 87/100 · Drink 2008-2012, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2008

The 2006 Pinot Noir Premier Cuvee is medium ruby-colored with aromas of spice box and red fruits. Silky, supple, and forward on the palate, the wine has attractive flavors but is in need of greater depth. Drink it over the next four years. Archery Summit is composed of 120 acres, all estate, and produces 15,000 cases annually. The Premier Cuvee bottling is typically 50-60% of the winery’s total production. Tel. (503) 864-4300

Medium red. Fresh raspberry, blackberry and Asian spice aromas convey ripeness and clarity. Sappy red and dark berry flavors offer good palate coverage and a bright note of orange peel. The spice character returns on the moderately long, sweet finish. Offers immediate, fruit-driven appeal and is more exotic and alluring than the '05 version.
