Score 92/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

From a vineyard just above the lieu-dit Cote Brune, the 2012 Cote Rotie Fongeant is much more focused, mineral-laced and structured than the But de Mont cuvee. Blackberries, cassis, violets, olive and hints of truffle all emerge from this medium-bodied, fresh and classically structured Cote Rotie. While it's not a powerhouse, it will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and drink well over the following decade or more.
