2010 Patz & Hall Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

(40% of this blend is from the very cool Gap's Crown vineyard): Good full medium red. Aromas of raspberry, licorice, clove and anise lifted by floral and peppery high notes. Rich and savory, showing more spice and forest floor tones than primary fruit in the mid-palate. Finishes with a saline soil qualityand chewy tannins.
