The 2005 Pinot Noir Ulises Valdez Vineyard possesses a beautiful dark ruby/purple-tinged color, very good acidity, and plenty of black cherry, plum, and chocolatey fruit presented in a full-bodied, fleshy style. It will drink well for 3-4 years. Deep red. Lush, chocolate-covered cherry aroma, plus a spicy cracked pepper note. A bit clenched, with zesty dark berry skin flavors and firm tannins on the finish. Give this air or cellar time.
