Dark red. Musky dark raspberry, brown spices, mocha, chocolate, underbrush and sandalwood on the flamboyantly expressive nose. Deep, sweet, chewy and rich, with terrific depth and verve to the raspberry and smoke flavors. Fairly strong acids contribute to the wine's strong impression of structure, but the finish is lush and long. Impressive.

(this vineyard is actually an enclave in the upper reaches of Clos-Saint-Denis) Red-ruby. Sexy aromas of briary dark berries, chocolate and smoked meat. Quite suave and velvety, with a fine-grained texture and lively acidity. Finishes with very fine, sweet tannins and noteworthy length and lift.
