All clone 115 and mostly destemmed, the 2018 Pinot Noir Fe Ciega Vineyard is a very pretty, pure Sta. Rita Hills release offering upfront black raspberry fruit as well as plenty of cedary spice, candied violets, and incense aromas and flavors. Beautifully balanced on the palate, it has present tannins, good acidity, and the class to benefit from short-term cellaring and evolve for at least 7-8 years.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Fe Ciega Vineyard is extraordinary. Bright, vibrant and explosive, the 2018 possesses tremendous depth but also has tons of minerality and overall energy. Licorice, lavender, spice and a touch of savoriness from the 10% whole clusters all give this dramatic, exquisitely vivid Pinot tons of character. In 2018, the Fe Ciega is lights out. Don't miss it.
