Pale greenish-straw color. Lovely Puligny perfume of white peach, wild herbs and spring flowers. Lush, sweet and pliant, with terrific depth to its stone fruit and floral flavors. At once silky and strong, this fills the mouth with flavor without leaving any impression of weight. Classy, long wine with compelling lingering perfume. Outstanding for this cuvee .

Sweet start and a little diffuse. Chewy end. Solid and rich yet savoury and solid. Long. Almost great but actually just lacks real clarity and precision. (JR)

Pale yellow. Very ripe peach and flowers on the nose. Supple, fruity and easygoing on entry, conveying a juicy quality but not quite the lift or energy of the Pucelles. Then a bit tighter on the back end, finishing with pure, citrus-dominated flavors. Today the Pucelles shows more volume but this is unevolved.
