Tasted blind. Dark crimson. Some real interest on the nose. Round, plump, flattering. A tad simple but a very nicely balanced medium-quality Pomerol. Just a bit of heat on the end. (JR)

Good dark red. Captivating nose melds blackberry, tobacco, lead pencil, Old Bay and sexy oak spices. Silky-sweet, rich and spicy in the mouth, with notes of herbs and juniper berries accenting the powerful dark fruit flavors. Really lovely balance and energy here. The long finish is complemented but not overwhelmed by oak tannins.
