1994 Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine was disappointing considering both the winery and the vintage. The wine exhibits a dark ruby color, followed by a moderately intense nose of vanillin and red/black currant fruit. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied, with good depth, a heavy overlay of wood, light to moderate tannin, and a short finish. This 1994 Cabernet should be drunk over the next 5-7 years. Tel.
