Vivid red. Pungent red and dark berries, herbs and smoky Indian spices on the nose, with a slow-building floral quality adding complexity. Raspberry and blackberry flavors are given lift and spine by juicy acidity and gain weight with aeration. The spice and floral notes build on the sappy, penetrating finish. There's already plenty going on but this should be even better in a couple of years. This fruit was sourced completely from Freestone.
