Score 89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2006

Saturated red-ruby color. Blacker fruit aromas than the Champs Chenys, with floral lift to the black cherry and underbrush elements. Juicy, tightly wound and penetrating, with a strong acid spine contributing to the impression of intensity. Very good village wine, finishing spicy and persistent, with fine, broad tannins.
