The 2013 Puligny-Montrachet les Combettes 1er Cru has one of the more mineral-driven aromatics at the moment with fine delineation, the new wood nicely integrated. The palate is fresh and vibrant with green apple, freshly sliced pear and impressive energy and weight on the saline finish. This is an impressive les Combettes.
